Happy Friday everyone! It’s been a minute!
Things have gotten crazy here (what else is new…), but I’ve been trying out some new products I wanted to share with you. They’re all part of a new Friday 5 series. On Fridays I’ll be sharing 5 products you should try this week. Products can be of any category, but they’ll all be something I’ve personally tried and recommend.
So without further adieu…here are the Friday 5 products you should try this week:
Can anyone say YUM! All of my kids are getting these in their Easter Baskets this year. Fiddlestix sent me the Strawberry Marshmallow and Lemon Meringue varieties of these delicious gourmet pops! I love that they are natural, completely edible, and they taste JUST LIKE what they’re supposed to! The lolipops can be customized with different sayings – mine say “Hoppy Easter” and have pictures of bunnies on them! A super cute Easter treat for your littles. (Or for yourself!) They’d also make awesome baby shower favors, teacher gifts, and even stocking stuffers. There are so many situations that lollipops are appropriate for!
First up on the Friday 5 are Juicy Coconut Gel Masks by Leaders Cosmetics. These masks smell so amazingly delicious that you’ll want to eat them, but this is not a product for consumption. Rather, just put the Juicy Mojito and Juicy Pina Colada sheet masks on your face and escape to a tropical island. (Even if – like in my case – that island happens to be a kitchen island full of tax paperwork.) After taking the masks off, my face felt completely clean, refreshed, renewed, and brighter.
The coconut gel masks are made from 100% fermented coconut juice. One of the benefits of coconut gel masks is that they have higher moisture lock-in capabilities compared to a traditional cotton mask. The juicy masks adhere very closely to your face, making sure that your skin is receiving every last drop of the serum. Give these Korean face masks a try. They’re a little bit of paradise right at home!
Number 2 on the Friday 5 list is Hard Candy makeup. I can’t even tell you how happy I was to get an email from the people at Hard Candy! The brand I trusted and enjoyed as a teen is back and better than ever! The good folks there sent me an awesome box full of samples from the new and improved Hard Candy cosmetic line – and a whole lot of heart-shaped confetti! I was like a kid in a Hard Candy store! (Pardon the pun – I just had to.) I’m a tad old for the blue lipstick, but I rocked it for a day anyway. #hardcandylife
Number 4 in the Friday 5 is Reveri frozen dessert. My daughter is lactose intolerant, so finding desserts that make her feel like a normal kid is hard. Ice cream makes her pretty sick. We go plant based whenever possible, and Reveri is one of the options we’ve come to enjoy. She isn’t a fan of the ice cream plain, but in a smoothie this is her go-to treat. The people at Reveri sent me the four flavors shown above. The strawberry is our favorite!
As a mom I love that Reveri ice cream is vegan, made with whole fruits, non-GMO and gluten free, and contains no added sugar. It’s a snack I can feel good about her eating!
This product is the highlight of this week’s Friday 5. These are technically shoes, but they’re more like “shocks” because the upper is made of sock material and they feel like socks or slippers. But they’re perfectly acceptable to wear anywhere. If I didn’t love them so much I would have given them to that mom at school who shows up every day in her Batman pajama pants and fuzzy slippers.
You may have never heard of it before, but the Arcopedico brand has been around since 1966. You’ll know it when you see it by three basic traits: the Techno-Elastic upper, an anatomic footbed, and the twin arch support system.
I love these shoes first and foremost because they’re so comfortable, but they can be worn with bare feet. Now believe me when I tell you that I cannot just wear any shoe with bare feet. I do a lot of walking, and as much as I hate to admit it, my feet get sweaty and stinky if I don’t wear socks. These shoes not only contain anti-stink technology, but they’re machine washable! Yup. So when I throw my daughter’s sneakers in the washer because they’re pretty rancid, I throw mine in too. Only mine come out looking great, and hers are falling apart.
I also love my pair of Arcopedico shoes for the exercise. The anatomic footbed actually exercises my feet, strengthens the muscles, and ensures more comfort in walking. It’s great for someone with back or knee problems. *Raises hand.*
This style is the Arcopedico LS, and it’s unique, cute, and can be worn with both jeans and dresses. This isn’t the only style this great brand comes in, though. You can also get all the technology and comfort of an Arcopedico shoe in many different styles and colors including open toe sandles and Mary Janes.
For all of your summer activities – fairs, festivals, parties, graduations, and backyard barbecues, Arcopedico shoes have you (literally) covered when it comes to comfort and style. Go ahead, give them a try! Your feet will thank you!
And that concludes the first Friday 5! Stay tuned for lots more fun in later weeks!
