#ShopletReviews House of Dolittle Business Planner and Calendar
If your life is anywhere near as crazy as mine, you need a good calendar or planner. Or 5.
Okay, so I only have 3. I keep one calendar for the blog, one for personal stuff, and one for my freelance writing. It keeps me a little more organized, and I’m weird about intermingling things. So, as you can imagine, I was super excited when I was offered the opportunity to review the House of Dolittle Business Planner and 2014 Calendar from Shoplet.
Let’s start with the desk calendar. The calendar is made from recycled materials, so you don’t feel so bad about ripping off the page at the end of the month and throwing it in the trash. It’s also printed with soy inks, and made in the USA! It’s genuinely a calendar you can feel good about buying.
It’s the perfect size – 18 1/2 x 13, so it is big enough to give you a lot of writing space and small enough that it doesn’t take up your entire desk. The calendar also has a nice large space for side notes – perfect if you write a lot of notes or even if you’re a doodler (like me!). I’ve taken a picture with a standard Sharpie marker (which I also got from Shoplet), so you can see just how big the date blocks are. The corners tuck into a nice little faux leather holder, so they’re not curling up under your arms as you type.
Please tell me I’m not the only person clumsy enough to get intertwined with my desk calendar!
The Business Planner is a nice little wirebound planner that helps you keep track of your appointments and expenses. It’s great for someone who travels a lot. The planner has a black plastic cover that’s easy to wipe off if you accidentally get coffee rings on it. It’s also a nice size (10×7) to carry with you either under your arm or in a briefcase, but not too small that you have to hold it up to your face to see.
There are so many cool features to this planner that I had to make a collage to show them all to you. Like many planners, it has a ton of information in the back, but this information is actually useful. You can use some of it to plan your frequent flyer mileage, to figure out where that mysterious caller is from, and even to plan your recycling! House of Dolittle truly has thought of everything here!
As always, many thanks to Shoplet and House of Dolittle for the promotional products!
