It’s been kind of a rough week around here, and I wanted to make something fun but simple to surprise my daughter with. So I went with an old standby – cookie pizza. I love cookie pizzas, and thanks to the few years I spent as a Pampered Chef Consultant, I’ve got a little bit of cookie pizza making experience under my belt. A quick trip to the store for supplies and Zombie Pumpkin Patch Cookie Pizza was born. Whew! That’s a mouthful, right?
I love making cookie pizzas because they’re such a versatile option. You can top them with anything! Most of the time I don’t top them with candy – fruit is a much healthier option. Today, however, these candy pumpkins were staring at me!

Large Pizza Stone (I used a Pampered Chef 13-inch)
Cake Decorating kit (optional – you can just spread the frosting on if you’d like!)
One 16.9 tube refrigerated sugar cookie dough.
One tub of vanilla icing
Gummy worms (I used minis)
Roll out the cookie dough into one big cookie, leaving about an inch space from the sides of the pizza stone. This is very important, because it does spread as it bakes.
Bake the cookie according to package directions.
Mix vanilla icing with green food coloring until you get a grass color.
Pipe on to the entire cookie. If you’ve got a Wilton Grass Tip, this is even easier! I don’t have one so I just used a star and then fluffed with a fork. Decorate from top to bottom so that you don’t get it all over yourself. I also wear an apron, just in case.
That’s all there is to it! It really couldn’t be any easier.
Here’s another Pampered Chef tip – cut cookie pizzas with a pizza cutter. It’s way easier than a knife!
My daughter came home from school and was super excited. I think Zombie Pumpkin Patch Cookie Pizza made her day 🙂
